Presidential Election

This years presidential election is a joke. The 2016 candidates are turning the election into a reality contest rather than a political campaign. The latest controversial statements put out are over the health records of each candidate, Who really cares? So, Hillary Clinton has walking pneumonia, this is a virus that is passed from person to person all the time. Apparently Donald Trump is the "healthiest man alive". Why are the American people dealing with this from the two people who should be the most politically correct. Looking at this election it is more similar to an episode of keeping up with the Kardashians rather than a real election. Hopes for the future are not so high either, these candidates started a new political wave and we can only pray things get better.

childhood memory

"Running away"

When I was around the age of six, my family lived with my Great Grandma. One day my sister was allowed to walk alone to her friends down the street, but I wanted to join her. My mom refused so I decided to take things into my own hands and walk alone. I told her that I was going down stairs to visit my grandma and then I went on my way out the door. After about 20 minutes of no one knowing where I ran off to my sister found me sitting on the sidewalk crying, because I knew I was in big trouble. I never "ran away" after that again, because I knew that I was lonely and scared even though I was 4 houses down the street from my own.

bad hair

Frizzy, puffy, dry and knotty are all words that describe bad hair. Hair is one thing that needs to have it's good days, if your hair looks good anyone automatically feels better about themselves. In my case thats never true, but I work with it. Almost all the time my hair looks like a poodle, and the more humidity the worse it gets. If one were to see my moms you'd know why. The constant look of bed head is not on purpose, the more I try to fix my appearance the worse it gets. Yet I have come to love this look, most girls my age worry too much about the way they looks and I have come to understand genetics are too hard to fight, so I love my hair. Bonus is it never gets greasy because it's as dry as Nevada. All the time spent straightening and curling helped me broaden my taste for music, and when you add up the amount of hours it's a huge gain for me. If people would love the things that others don't about them life will be much easier.
